Your Old Bike Could Be Someone's Christmas

We take bikes in any condition. You'd be amazed what our volunteers can do.

What Happens to Your Donated Bike

Most bikes you donate are repaired and given away at the Christmas giveaway, through Catholic Charities social workers, through law enforcement officers in our Community Immersion Program, or as incentives for students through Syracuse teachers.

A small number — fewer than 100 per year — are sold or traded to bike shops for parts. That revenue helps cover fuel, insurance, and equipment.

Nothing is wasted.

Volunteers Transform What You Drop Off

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday our shop runs as a full bike repair operation. Volunteers change tubes, replace tires, adjust cables, and clean frames — turning donated bikes into Christmas gifts.
